LAKE COUNTY 4-H ACHIEVEMENT DAY SCHEDULE AUGUST 2-6, 2011 CHAIRMAN — Jerry Eilertson & Deb Stamm, CO-CHAIRMAN —Mark Maas & Amy Terrall, Youth Representatives – Karee Wicks & Tyler Minnaert.

Tuesday, August 2: Dog Show — 3:00 p.m.

Wednesday, August 3: Exhibit entry for Lake County Open Class Contest, Ugly Cake Contest and 4-H Exhibits 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. — 4-H Center.

Thursday, August 4: Enter all livestock exhibits — 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Judge 4-H and Open Classy Exhibits — 6:00 p.m. to finish.

Kick off Social — “Slice of Heaven from Skippers” — 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Proceeds assist 4-H Leaders with programming in Lake County.

Friday, August 5: Poultry Show — 4:30 p.m. — Poultry Area. Rabbit Show — 11:00 a.m. — Rabbit Area. Livestock Judging — 11:30 a.m. – meet at Livestock Ring. Dairy Show — 1:00 p.m. Dress the Bunny Contest — 3:00 p.m. Fashion Revue —– 5:00 p.m. — 4-H Grounds. Beef and Baby Beef Show — 6:00 p.m. Burger Night at the 4-H Lunch Stand — 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Maplewood Men & Community Band — 7:00 p.m. Exhibit Hall Closes at 8:00 p.m.

Saturday, August 6: Swine Show — 7:30 a.m. Cat Show — noon — 4-H Center. SDSU Ice Cream Social Sponsored by 4-H Leaders — 12:30 p.m. — 4-H Center. Sheep Show — 1:00 p.m. Parade of Champions — following Sheep Show. “Catch a Greased Pig” – donation to Lake County Food Pantry to participate – 4:00 p.m. Lake County 4-H Livestock Committee Pork Barbecue – 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. Proceeds assist beef, dairy, sheep and swine livestock project members in Lake County. Class winner Sale – 5:00 p.m. Release of Livestock/Static Exhibits and Clean up — 6:00 p.m.
