Dakota 38 + 2 riders will be riding into Madison on Sunday, December 14. The community is invited to meet the riders and join them in a community dinner beginning at 2:00 p.m. in the Market Place, Trojan Center, DSU. The Dakota 38 + 2 memorial and reconciliation ride reminds us of the Native Americans who were hanged in Mankato, Minnesota, in 1862 following the Sioux Uprising.
