Hello,

 

You are invited to be part of Mart in the Park Saturday July 25, 2009, 9:00am-3:00pm in the Library Park in Madison, SD. 

 

Madison is having its annual Crazy Days events Friday and Saturday.  Stores will be selling their discounted wares outside on the streets.  There will be events for children on Saturday such as the ping pong ball drop and pedal tractor pull.  As the Library Park is only one block from these events, there should be lots of shopping traffic that makes its way through the park

 

Booth:  A 10’x10’ area of the park will be sectioned off for each vender.  Venders may reserve more than one booth space at $50 per space.  NO tables, chairs, or canopies will be provided for venders, so please supply your own.  Electricity is available only upon request.

 

Set Up:  Saturday morning 6:30am until 9:00am at Library Park 209 East Center; Madison, SD 57042

 

Sales Tax:  All venders must collect and report their own sales tax.  A Special Event Tax Form will be provided.  Tax rate is 7% (4% state, 2% city, 1% tourism).

 

Refunds:

If the event is cancelled for any reason, the booth and electrical fees will be refunded at 50%.  However, if a vendor reserves a space but does not show up for the show and fails to call and cancel, then no refund will be issued.

 

Madison Christian School reserves the right to ask vendors to leave the show.

It is hereby agreed and understood that I, the vender, will carry the necessary insurance covering my products and property displayed and used during Mart in the Park.  I hereby exonerate Madison Christian School, the City of Madison, workers, and helpers from any bodily injuries, damages or losses while setting up, attending, traveling to and from, or anytime during Mart in the Park.

 

By signing this form, the applicant acknowledges having fully read this application and liability waiver and agrees to abide by all rules and regulations pertaining to Mart in the Park. 

 

Madison Christian School reserves the right to ask vendors to leave the show.
