Thill and Waldner Elected to City Commission

The polls were open on Tuesday, April 14th at the City Armory for the election of two City Commissioners. Five candidates were in the running for the two open positions including incumbents Mike Waldner and Nick Abraham, as well as Marshall Dennert, Robert Thill, and Jennifer Wolff.

Mike Waldner received 422 votes, followed by Robert Thill with 317 votes, Nick Abraham with 241, Jennifer Wolff with 225, and Marshall Dennert with 169 votes. Voter turnout for the single-ballot election was 13%.

Waldner and Abraham will be sworn into office on May 4th and serve three-year terms on the Madison City Commission.
