National 4H Week, Oct. 7-13

This week in National 4-H week. And though there isn’t one specific event that commemorates the week, Youth Development 4-H Extension Educator Karen Beranek, says the peak time for 4-H is during Achievement Days during the summer.

Beranek says the club has something for everyone, including those who aren’t necessarily members.

Youth ages 8 to 18 are welcome to enter 4-H in their home county, Beranek says during National 4-H week, October 7th through the 13th, is a good time to get enrolled in the program. The best way to get into the program is by contacting your local extension office.
