Bulldogs get back in win column

The Madison boys basketball team got back in the win column last night with a convincing 73-41 win over Vermillion at the Madison Middle School Gym.
Vermillion controlled the tempo early in the game, take a 14-13 first quarter lead. But the Bulldogs posted 49 total points in the second and third quarters to put the game out of reach and improve to 12-2 on the season.
Chad White earned Player of the Game honors for Madison as he led all scorers with 31 points. Tony Fiegen scored 20 points as Madison out-rebounded Vermillion 29-26.
For the 4-11 Tanagers, Cole Andre launched 4 three-pointers to finish with 14 points, while Blaine Olson had 11 points.
Madison is back in action Monday when it hosts top-rated Sioux Falls Christian at the Dakota State University Memorial Fieldhouse.
