West Central downs Lady Bulldogs

The West Central Lady Trojans avenged an earlier loss to Madison on Friday, downing the Bulldogs 62-49 Friday night in Hartford.

It was a low-scoring affair in the first half, with West Central leading 21-13 at halftime, but would pull away in the second half to improve to 8-6.

T-Yanna Devericks led West Central with 19 points as Lexy Hofer added 14. For the 9-7 Bulldogs, Kaitlyn Higgins scored 15 points, while Christa Paul added 13.

Madison's next action is on Tuesday, when the Lady Bulldogs host Milbank at the Middle School Gym. That game will air on KJAM, AM 1390.
