Madison boys end regular season with win.

The Madison boys' basketball team ended its season on a high note last night with a solid 64-50 road win over Milbank.

Madison started the game on a 7-0 run as it led after the first quarter, 16-8. Madison extended the lead to nine at the half and then took advantage of Tony Fiegens 16 second-half points to finish the regular season with an 18-2 record.

Fiegen led all scorers with 21 points. Chad White added 13 points while Ryan Steffensen and Michael Sullivan had nine and eight points, respectively.

For 9-10 Milbank, Lance Junso led the team with 14 points while Kyle Kunde added 10.

Madison is off until next Tuesday, when it hosts Flandreau Indian School in the first round of the District 5-A tournament. The Madison girls host Flandreau Indian tonight in the first round of the girls' District 5-A, which starts at 7:00 on AM 1390.
