Signing Postponed to April 10th

When the South Dakota Association of Rural Water Systems moves its headquarters to Madison, it will be doing a lot of its business in Madison.

Association officials are expected to sign an agreement with Heartland Consumers Power District for the purchase Heartland's current headquarters building.

Executive Director Denny Davis says Rural Water will need to do much of its business in Madison.

The signing ceremony originally scheduled at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday will take place at 203 W. Center Street at 10 a.m. on Friday April 10th.

Heartland's Ground Breaking ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. Friday April 10th at the Prairie Playhouse.

Davis says he plans to hire two or three more staff people over the next six or seven months. He says he doesn't expect his staff to move to Madison right away.
