MHS Golf Season Underway

The fall sport's season is underway at Madison High School, after the first boys golf tournament of the year was held yesterday at West Central. Madison placed 8th out of 15 teams in the Early Bird Invite.
Mike Sullivan led the way for the Bulldogs shooting an 80, good enough for 10th place individually. Other scores for Madison included Mitch Manthey with an 86, Braxton Olson an 89, Jon Waba a 91, and Jordan Brown with a round of 100.
Kyle Higgins of Winner shot the low round of the day with a 65, three strokes ahead of Mike Liesinger of West Central. Harrisburg won the team competition after a 3-hole playoff with Sioux Falls Christan.
Madison is back on the course today for the Lennox Triangular. Tee-off is at 10am today.
