Bulldogs dominate Crow Creek with solid 60-44 win

Spearheaded by Derrick Wiebe's 20 points, the Madison Bulldogs downed the Crow Creek Chieftains 60-44 on Thursday afternoon in State A competition at the Sioux Falls Arena.
The Bulldogs will move into the state tournament's second round to play McCook Central-Montrose at 7 p.m. on Friday.
The Dogs (23-1) trailed 23-20 at halftime, but they used a 22-5 third-period scoring run to take a commanding 42-28 lead after three quarters.
Nine Bulldogs contributed to Madison's point total, including Mitch White who ended up with 12 points in the game. Weibe also led the Bulldogs in rebounding with nine boards.
Crow Creek (16-9) was led by Keenan World Turner who scored 21 points.
