Lady T's off to Fast Start

The Dakota State Lady Ts are off and running in what is shaping up to be one of their most successful seasons in history. The Lady Ts started the season ranked 9th in NAIA division 2 womens basketball and have since downed number 3 ranked Hastings and number 8 Morningside. DSU returned 6 seniors from the conference champion and national tournament qualifying team from a year agobut it may be the freshmen who ultimately make the difference this season. The Lady Ts currently have 6 freshmen on the varsity rosterthree of whom saw action in last weeks battle with Morningside. Head Coach Jeff Dittman says he expects the young players to develop into their roles.

DSU will return to action on Thursday when they travel to Iowa to take on Dordt College at 7:30.
