A Dakota State baseball player has been honored as one of the best NAIA players in the nation. Senior shortstop Greg Biagi (bee-AH-jee) was honored this week with a spot on the NAIA preseason baseball All-American team. Biagi is the only member of the DAC on the team and joins 14 other players from around the country. In addition to being reigning DAC MVP and Region 3 player of the year- Biagi hit 357 last season with 5 homeruns and 53 RBIs- a school record. Trojan fans will have to wait to see Biagi back on the diamond- however- as the 2008 season wont start until February 23rd when DSU hosts Dakota Wesleyan at Flynn Field.
