The Madison Lady Bulldogs Volley Ball team finished this season as District Champions. They fell short of the State Tournament, but with the team returning next year they looked poised for another solid run at a tournament berth.
The Lady Bulldogs have three players that saw a good amount of playing time this season back for next year. Those players are outside hitters Alyssa Weist and Amanda Dailing, and Setter Emily Terwilliger. Weist and Dailing played a lot throughout the season. Terwilligar was a surprise server in the District title match, she came in and served seven straight points to help her team to the win.
Head Coach Jennifer Nelson said that the front court experience will be good for their team next year.
Madison finished the year 18 and 11, and won the District 5 title.
