Dell Rapids to Hold Postmaster Installation Ceremony

Dell Rapids is getting a new postmaster, officially. The installation ceremony for Postmaster Robert Maxwell will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday in the citys post office on Fourth Street.

Maxwell began working at Dell Rapids in August and became a permanent employee earlier this month.

Maxwell is originally from Madison, and before coming to Dell Rapids was the manager of distribution at the mail processing and distribution facility in Sioux Falls.
