Madison City Commission Accepts Public Works Director Resignation

On Monday night, March 21st, the Madison City Commission accepted the resignation of Public Works Director Heath VonEye. VonEye, who resigned effective immediately, stated he's enjoyed serving the city of Madison since he first came 3 1/2 years ago to fill the first ever advertised Public Works Director position. The position was designed to oversee the departments of streets, solid waste, recycling, parks, water purification, waste water treatment, water distribution, and waste water collection.
