Bulldogs Win Region 2A Gymnastics Title

The Madison Bulldog gymnasts took home the Region 2A title Friday night in Wagner with their best scores of the season.

Finishing with 144.2 points, they surpassed Vermillion, Wagner, and West Central.

Laura Blom won all-around with 37.275 points and also took first place in bars, beam, and vault. Lexi Finck took second in all-around and first on floor. Danielle Bloom and Shannon Winthers took third and fourth respectively in all-around.

Madison, Vermillion, and Wagner will all compete in the State Gymnastics Team Championships on Friday, February 17th at the Swiftel Center in Brookings. The Class "A" Competition will start at 10am.
