Madison Gymnasts 4th at Mitchell

The Madison gymnasts are into the holiday break this week after last weekend’s performance at the Mitchell Invitational. The Bulldogs placed fourth, behind Watertown and Sioux Falls Lincoln and just over eight points behind champ and host team Mitchell.

Head Coach Maridee Dossett was impressed with the girls’ performance in what was primarily a Class-AA tournament.

Kassie Finck finished in the top-10 for the Bulldogs in the all-around, while Brooke Cersosimo of Mitchell took the top individual honor. Coach Dossett singled out Finck and Katie Breuer for outstanding days.

The Bulldogs resume action in January against Sioux Falls O’Gorman.
