Harrisburg Tigers Defeat the Madison Bulldogs Football Team

The Madison Bulldogs kicked off their 2012 football season on Friday, August 24th hosting the Harrisburg Tigers at Trojan Field. The Tigers finished on top (27-21) over the Bulldogs.
At the end of the first quarter, both teams were tied at 7 but in the second quarter, the Tigers scored three touchdowns to lead 27-7. Madison cut the deficit in the third quarter with a 74-yard touchdown pass from Jacob Giles to Brendon Waldner. Then Rush Milne scored from four yards out to put the score 27-21.
Junior quarterback Jacob Giles was 11 of 27 passing for 232 yards and a touchdown. Brendan Waldner was the leading receiver for Madison with 4 catches for 102 yards, while Rush Milne rushed for 45 yards and two touchdowns.
Madison hosts West Central at home on Friday night.
