DSU Men's Basketball Team Earns Its 2nd Straight NAIA Tournament Bid

The Dakota State Trojans have made it to the NAIA Division II Men's Basketball National Tournament for the second straight year.

The Trojans had trailed nationally-ranked Valley City State (ND) 23-19 at halftime on Saturday evening. However, a strong finish claimed a 58-53 victory in the semifinals of the Association of Independent Institutions (A.I.I.) Conference Postseason Tournament, which was held at the Civic Center.

The Trojans, A.I.I.'s number 3 seed, moved their record to 21-9.
