Bulldog Gymnasts win home meet

Madison's gymnasts blew past the competition Saturday afternoon at the Madison Gymnastics invitational at the Middle School Gym. The Bulldogs racked up 140.2 points in the five-team event.

Milbank was runner-up with 121.25 points, followed by Chamberlain with just over 118 points. Wagner and West Central rounded out the scoring.

Madison's Kassie Finck took all-around honors with 36.425 points, followed by teammate Katie Breuer with 35.875. Both Bulldogs dominated the individual events as Finck winning the Bars and Floor Exercise while Breuer took the Vault and Beam.

The Bulldogs return to action on Thursday, when the travel to Huron for a dual with the Tigers.
