Madison Students Creating History

Sixth graders in Madison will make the past come alive this evening with the People of the Past program. The youngsters will be spread throughout the halls at the middle school- portraying historical personalities and raising money for Almost Home Canine Rescue.

The People of the Past will be available from 4 to 5:30 tonight. Schaefer says the program provides an opportunity for the students to accurately research history and work on public speaking. Everyone in the community is invited to attend and bring their spare bills and change.
