Madison has Good Showing at Banana Relays

It was a successful start to what will be a busy week for the Madison track teams. Both the boys and girls teams won the Banana Relays Tuesday at Duel High School. The Bulldogs also won six individual events during the meet.

Head Coach Kevin DeCurtins said that his team had several great individual performances.

The best individual battle may have been between two Madison teammates. Tyler Johnson had his personal best throw of 119-feet beat out by the next thrower who happened to be teammate Patrick Delzer. Delzer won the event with a throw of 120-feet.

DeCurtins says that competition between teammates is good for the team.

Madison is in action again this Saturday as they host the Dan Barker relays.
