Mayville State Heading to Madison

It's been a rough start for the Mayville State football team in 2007. After dropping their first two contests they squeaked past South Dakota School of Mines in an emotional three overtime win. Last week, early DAC favorite Jamestown blanked the Comets 28-nothing. Despite the disappointing start, second year Head Coach Jody Ford says his players have remained positive and receptive.

Now Ford must bring his team to Madison on Saturday to face one of the DAC's most surprising teams. He says hes taken notice of the way Dakota State has performed recently.

This will be the second conference game for the Trojans after picking up a road victory over Valley City State last week. DSU will also celebrate homecoming this weekend for some added momentum.
