Trojan's Homecoming a Chance to Display Success

The Dakota State Trojans will celebrate Homecoming by taking on Mayville State on the football field Saturday. The Trojans will be in search of their 3rd consecutive victory and second win in conference.

A win over the Comets would also match DSU's win total from all of last season -- a testament to just how far this team has come under new coach Tom Shea.

The Trojan offense has been making big strides throughout the first 3 games, and the addition of transfer student and wide-out Lance Harper gave the air attack a big boost last week against Valley City State.

Shea says gaining another quality receiver should help the rest of the group.

Dakota State will be celebrating homecoming this weekend as well, which Shea says means a lot to not only the returning alumni, but also to his players and coaches.

The Trojans kick-off at 1:30 tomorrow following all the Homecoming festivities. Tune in to the Voice of the Trojans, Dylan Steen, on Jammin Country FM 103 for all the action.
