Wentworth Co-Ed Softball this Friday

The Fourth of July is usually marked with baseball and softball games. The Fourth of July celebration this Friday in Wentworth is no exception.

As part of the festivities on Friday, a Co-Ed Softball tournament will take place at the ball diamond in Wentworth. Tournament organizer Skye Feistner explains the format.

Cost for the tournament is 100-dollars per team with a limit of eight teams. There will be cash payouts to the champion and runner-up teams in the double-elimination. Wentworth City Council member Lisa Mosser says the tournament is a fundraiser for various projects around Wentworth.
