Madison takes part in DSU team camp

The Summer camp schedule continued this week for the Madison boy’s basketball team as the Bulldogs took part in the Dakota State University team camp. Two varsity and one junior varsity team played a combined 18 games in the 2-day camp.
Last month, the boys’ team took part in the University of Wisconsin team camp in Madison, Wisconsin. Despite being short-handed, Ricke says there was some good things that came out of Wisconsin.
The Bulldogs were without the services of incoming seniors Chad White and Tony Fiegen. White is continuing his rehabilitation from last summer’s knee injury, while Fiegen sat out as a cautionary move after an ankle injury in Wisconsin. With the absence of these all-state players, Ricke has been able to evaluate some of the younger players.
The camp wrapped up last night at the DSU Fieldhouse and at the Community Center.
