Bulldogs blanked by Charger champs

Defending Class "A" Champion Sioux Falls Christian made quick work of Madison last night, winning three games to none at the Madison Middle School Gym.

The Bulldogs took the early lead in the first game 4-0, only to have the Chargers rally back to take the lead and the game 25-23. Sioux Falls also held off a late Madison rally in the second game to win 25-20, then went up 11-2 in the third game to win 25-12.

Despite the shutout loss, Madison assistant coach Kevin DeCurtains says the girls did well in the match.

In earlier sub-varsity action, the freshman won 2 games to one, while the jayvee was blanked 2-0.
