Bulldogs lose to Vermillion

Madison hosted Vermillion last night in Big 8 Conference action at the Middle School Gym. The Tanagers came away with a 3 game to one victory over the Bulldogs.

Madison started the game out well, taking the first game on a 25-21 score in which neither team had a lead of larger than three points. Bulldog head coach Wendy Nelson credits Madison's front line play as a major factor in the win.

But Vermillion rallied back to take the next three games, winning on scores of 25-20, 25-21 and 26-24. With the loss, Madison falls to 11-10 on the season, while Vermillion improves to 8-8. Madison is off the rest of the week and will host Garretson next Tuesday.
