Bulldogs 11th at State golf; Campbell takes fourth

Sioux Falls Christian led the field for a second straight day to take the Class A boys' golf title. The meet wrapped up yesterday at Hot Springs.
The Chargers fired a 2-day total of 642, 44 shots better than runner-up Vermillion. Dell Rapids took sixth with a 698, while Madison finished 11th with a 723.
Christian's Rainey Renyolds took medalist honors. The senior golfer held off Aberdeen Roncalli's Ben Heller, firing a two-day total of 151 to take First Place. Madison's Sean Campbell finished six shots off the lead, tying for fourth place with Vermillion's Aaron Steele.
Other scores for the Bulldogs include Michael Sullivan with a 179, Braxton Olson at 193 and Sam Wilkens at 194, and Zach Zingmark at 246. Campbell was named to the all-tournament team.
