Johnson finishes sixth at State Tennis.

Despite rain showers and storms in the Rapid City area, the State Girls tennis tournament wrapped up this weekend with Madison winning a couple of medals.
Senior Molly Johnson took sixth place in Flight 1 singles. After losing to top-seeded Theresa Petranko of Sioux Falls OGorman, Johnson faced Kilee Kading of Sioux Falls Washington, losing 10-3 for sixth place.
Johnson also earned a medal in doubles competition, teaming up with Laura Niedert in Flight 1 doubles. Madison took sixth in doubles, losing to Yankton, 10-6.
Sioux Falls OGorman won the team title, with 743 points, followed by Rapid City Stevens and Sioux Falls Lincoln. Madison finished 11th with 220 points.
