White and Fiegen become Jackrabbits

Over two years after making verbal commitments to South Dakota State University, Madison seniors Chad White and Tony Fiegen made it official yesterday. The pair signed National Letters Of Intent to become the newest members of the Jackrabbit Mens Basketball Team.

Both players committed to SDSU as sophomores. White is looking forward to the opportunity to take his game to a whole new level.

Both players earned All-State honors last season. Fiegen was named to the first-team while White was named to the third-team. With yesterdays signing, Fiegen says the pressure is off and that he can now concentrate on the upcoming Madison basketball season.

South Dakota State University mens basketball head coach Scott Nagy received word of Fiegen and Whites signing late yesterday morning. He says their signings are huge for the Jackrabbits.

White and Fiegen helped the Bulldogs make their second straight state tournament appearance last season, making the finals for the first time since 1945. Madison opens the regular season December 12th at Hamlin.
