Bulldog wrestlers hold on for win

The Madison wrestling team used a big surge in the lower weights to pick up a dual win over West Central last night. The Bulldogs won over the Trojans 37-36 in Hartford.

Madison picked up wins by fall at 103, 112, 125, 130 and 135 to take the early lead. However, the Trojans also picked up pins at 140, 145, 152, 171, and 189. Mason Riedesel won by a 14-5 major decision at 215 to seal the win for Madison.

The Bulldogs will be back in action Thursday, hosting Huron at the Middle School Gym.
