Prairie Village

White Night 2012 returns to Historic Prairie Village with great live music, plein-air artists opportunities, train rides, camping, and more.

10 AM - Prairie Village opens FREE to the public.

10 AM thru evening - Plein-air artists are encouraged to work throughout the Prairie Village grounds.

2 PM - Train departs the Wentworth Depot (Tickets available)

5:30 PM - Community dinner available.

6 PM - Wet-show & sale for the participating Plein-air artists.

7 PM - Train departs the Wentworth Depot (Tickets available)

8 PM - Jim Groth performs @ Welk Operahouse

9:30 PM - Burlap Wolf King performs @ Welk Operahouse

11:00 PM - Wumpus performs @ Welk Operahouse

Overnight camping, with electricity and all the necessities is available for $12-15 through Prairie Village.

Coolers are allowed, please drink responsibly.

This event is free to attend and is supported by the Madison Area Arts Council, Historic Prairie Village, and the South Dakota Arts Council, with support from the state department of tourism and the National Endowment for the Arts.
