Economic Outlook Seminar in Sioux Falls, Thursday, November 7 from 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM.
The agenda includes an annual economic update by Dr. Ralph Brown(1) that will include special notes on the subjects of energy, finance, manufacturing and agriculture, along with a discussion of the question “How dependent is South Dakota on the federal government?” Our featured speaker this year is Dr. Michael Morrisey(2) who will discuss the potential impact of healthcare reform on the nation’s economy. This topic will be followed by our luncheon speaker Deb Bowman(3) who will speak about South Dakota’s Medicaid Task Force.
