Free to participate - $3.00 for parking
The South Dakota Department of Health, The Madison Recreation Department and Lake Herman State Park have teamed up to offer activities for children, adults, and seniors. You must be present for registration at 9:30am to participate in the activities throughout the day. All participants will receive a Frisbee courtesy of the South Dakota Department of Health.
Schedule of Events:
9:30am-10am: Registration at Lake Herman State Park (2nd Shelter by disc course)
11am Horseshoe & Bean Bag Toss Tournament
10-11 am Scavenger Hunt
11-12pm Nature Arts & Crafts (items collected from Scavenger Hunt will be used)
12-1pm Lunch (participants bring non-perishable lunch)
1- 3pm Rotation of Activities
- Canoeing
- Fishing Seminar (equipment will be provided)
- Campground Games
- GPS Course
3:30 pm South Dakota Great Day of Play Ends
